Import recipes without typing them

Take or pick a photo of the recipe and Fogón's AI builds the title, ingredients and steps. Before saving, you can review and fix anything you like. It works with:

If you prefer, you can also type the recipe yourself or tell it in a voice note.

A recipe organizer with recipe books

Stop digging through screenshots, notes and messages. In Fogón every recipe lives in a recipe book: you can keep a private one just for you, plus shared family recipe books. Search with filters finds any dish by name, ingredient or cooking time, right when you need it.

Family recipe books you can share

Invite your family with a link or a 6-character code. Everyone sees the same recipes, can add their own and cooks from the same book, wherever they live. It's the easiest way to gather your home recipes: your mom's, your aunts', and the ones you're still inventing. Have recipes on paper? See how to digitize handwritten recipes.

And when it's time to cook

The app is available in 6 languages, so everyone in the family can use it in theirs.

FAQ

What's the easiest way to keep recipes on my phone?

Keep them all in one recipe app instead of scattered across screenshots, notes and chats. With Fogón a single photo is enough to save a recipe neatly and find it later with search.

Can I save recipes I see on social media?

If the recipe is written out (in the post's text or on screen), take a screenshot and create the recipe from that photo. Fogón builds the ingredients and steps for you.

Can my family see my private recipes?

No. Private recipe books are only visible to you. What you share are the family recipe books you invite other people to.

Is it free?

You can start for free. There's an optional Premium subscription that raises the limits on recipes, recipe books and AI imports.
